Warranty And Care Guide

Limited Lifetime Warranty:
We take pride in the quality and design of our products and back each of them with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. If you experience issues with the material or workmanship of your Owala product, we will gladly replace the defective parts free of charge, with proof of purchase from an authorised retailer. In some situations, such as when an exact replacement is not possible, we reserve the right to either replace the defective part or the entire product, with a comparable in-stock product.

We make no other warranties, express or implied, concerning the product or the merchantability or fitness thereof for any purpose. The term lifetime refers to the lifetime of the product. This warranty is void if the product is repaired or modified in any way by someone other than our company. We reserve the right to request photographic proof of product defect and request that the defective product in question be shipped to us to verify the defect or to aid in quality control efforts. We do not offer monetary reimbursement nor is the warranty transferable. The total liability for any loss or damage, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence or otherwise, shall not exceed the purchase price of the Owala product. In no event shall we be liable for consequential, incidental or special damages of any kind.

-Sticker residue
-Rust, mould and stains
-Remnant odours, metallic and plastic smells and taste

Wear & Tear
-Worn out threading resulting in leaking and misalignment
-Material flaking at high friction points
-Chewing related damages
-Discolouration

Care Guide
General
-Refer to the product features, instructions for use and warnings of each product for more information

Scruffs & Scrapes
-Gently wipe the component down with a Lysol wipe to remove debris
-Soak the component in warm, soapy water-Gently scrub the component with a Magic Eraser or soft eraser to remove remaining smudges
-If dishwasher safe, place the component on the top rack and run it through a cleaning cycle

Mould
-Scrub and rinse off all components with warm, soapy water
-Spray or soak the components in distilled white vinegar. Leave the vinegar on the components for several hours
-Mix 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda with 2-3 tablespoons of distilled white vinegar and scrub the solution into any remaining mold
-Rinse the components with warm water, or place them on the top rack of your dishwasher

Poor Odours
-Scrub and rinse off all components with warm, soapy water
-Make a bath of warm water, soap and vinegar in a container. Submerge and soak everything in the bath for a few hours. This will help lift the stains and kill bacteria. After the bath, scrub and rinse thoroughly with clean water and set aside to dry completely. Place on the top rack of your dishwasher if the product is dishwasher safe
-Roll a piece of charcoal briquette up in newspaper, place it in the bottle, and screw on the lid. After a few days, remove the briquette and the newspaper and wash your bottle with soap and water

Rust
-Our stainless steel products are rust resistant, however, surface rust may still form under certain conditions
-To remove surface rust, we recommend using Bar Keepers Friend or similar stainless steel cleaning agents
-Follow the cleaning instructions on the product box to safely remove any surface rust from your bottle

Sticker Residue Removal
-Use warm, soapy water to gently scrub the area with a soft cloth or a Magic Eraser. Be careful not to scrub too hard as it may damage the surface of the bottle
-If needed, you may use a solution called Goo Gone or similar sticky residue removal solutions. Follow the instructions provided with the solution and then wipe away with warm, soapy water
